ODYSSEY GO BACK TO THEIR ROOTS FOR CHRISTMAS
Report
by Denis O`Donoghue
More than 750 enthusiastic Cali-R fans packed the hall at Dunstable Leisure Centre on December 5th to welcome disco favourites Odyssey to the stage.
Led by Steven Collazo, son of the founder and lead singer, the late Lillian Lopez, Odyssey had the audience in the palm of their hand as they performed their hits, reaching back in time for songs such as 'Native New Yorker', 'Going Back To My Roots', 'Don't Tell Me, Tell Her', 'Use It Up and Wear It Out' and 'If You're Lookin' For a Way Out', as well as their newer material.
With Sid on fine form behind the decks, Santa Ron Horniblew handing out goodies and birthday boy Louie Martin and Jellybean taking care of business in the funk room, it proved to be another cracking night.
